San Diego - Sequoia National Forest

During our California trip in 2020, we visited San Diego, where we spent most of our time on the beaches. One of my favorite spots was La Jolla Beach where we saw several sea lions laying on the rocks and swimming in the water. This was my first time seeing sea lions in the wild and it was amazing to see them from such a short distance.
Sequoia National Forest
Seeing Sequoia and Redwood trees was a bucket list item for me, so visiting the Sequoia National Forest was something I have wanted to do for many years. The trees were enormous and you could even walk inside of some of them. Unfortunately, we were short on time during this trip so we only spent an afternoon in the forest. I definitely want to return here and check out the Sequoia National Park as well.
