We drove up to Wisconsin for a weekend in August of 2024. I really wanted to see the Witch’s Gulch on this trip, and the witches gulch can only be accessed by boat, so we took a boat tour. We had checked ahead and the boat tour allows dogs, so we were able to take our Miniature Poodle, Bubbles along with us! The boat tour was beautiful and well worth the price. It took us all through the dells, and there was even a reinactment of a dog jumping the rocks like the famous photo.

The town of Wisconsin Dells had lots of food options as well as gift shops and touristy activities. We got some food to go after the boat tour and then headed home.

There are still several other spots I would like to check out in Wisconsin, particularly northern Wisconsin along the lakeshore, but we only had a very short amount of time for this weekend trip.
